humility

Humility comes from the Latin word meaning "ground." Humility means that one is modest and submissive, not proud and arrogant. One should lower themselves to the ground, not elevate above others. When praying, Muslims prostrate themselves to the ground, acknowledging human beings lowliness and humility before Allah, thus showing how important humility is in Islam, five times a day, everyday.
